Disgusting, they will exploit you for every dollar they can become over a dying pet. Our cat suddenly vicious very ill, not eating and not drinking and we knew she was on her mode out, we tried to bring her to our regular vet still he wasn't taking emergency cases and wouldn't meet her until next calendar week even for euthanasia and were referred to the emergency vets. We didn't (fifty-fifty though we should have) want to goto the emergency vets as they didn't open until 7pm and we though a vet would exist more personable (which they weren't) and then an emergency dispensary. We moved to Ajax in Baronial 2018 so it was a new feel for our two dogs, Jack and Sailor. Jack is a 9 year former Shorkie and I believe the care and attention he received in Jan has saved his life. He was due for his annual shots and checkup and he needed his teeth cleaned. They discovered lumps on his hind leg and one on his eyelid which they removed (benign). When he went for his checkup 1 molar had separate laterally so some other surgery to remove what should accept been a healthy tooth. So for a month or so it was scary but the meds and bank check ups fixed him upwards and now he is a happy, healthy dog. They showed me ten-rays etc. then I was kept aware. Online appointments have helped. A change in domestic dog food for both dogs keeps their poops normal which they were not before. Today was the check for heartworm/fleas/ticks and staff is then patient for my two high strung terriers. Ticks are on the increase and so I appreciate the information they share. I am never rushed. Equally a Senior it is comforting to know that they will aid me go along my 2 boys for a long fourth dimension. Very pleased and would recommend them. Thank yous Herongate! You lot are awesome! I have been taking my dog to Herongate for years now and Dr. Draboo has e'er been nothing brusque of astonishing. Recently, my dog Bentley had gone into renal failure and Dr. Draboo took him in right away and saved his life. She hospitalized him and gave him fluids. She told me this can be common in older dogs. One time he was stable she gave us some medication and recommended putting him on a special diet to assistance his kidneys. He has been perfectly fine since. Although there is a hazard that this tin happen again I am so very greatful to have brought him there. Information technology also didn't drain my bank business relationship. The staff are then friendly and over all just a great establishment. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a smashing vet to go to her. Read Less

Dr. Draboo should non be practicing veterinary care menses! I so regret always taking my cat back after Anne retired. Dr. Draboo has NO bedside manner, and is quite ignorant... I took my cat in for dental surgery and Dr Draboo promised a discount on antibiotics... And so argued the fact after the surgery. Not only did I take to argue something that was clearly blackness and white I don't recollect she did a thorough Cheque on his bloodwork prior to surgery like she said she did... Every bit non even a week after surgery my true cat became very sick.... I took him back to her and she prescribed an pain killer? I took him to a much more capable intelligent vet and she brash that he had a major infection that should take been picked upwards before his surgery. Moral to this story is if I had not trusted my instincts and took him to another vet my poor cat would certainly not exist live! Would I recommend this clinic? Non FOR ALL THE MONEY IN THE UNIVERSE! Took my puppy there when his middle swelled up. Explained that he had been staying with ii other dogs that caught an eye infection but the vet kept insisting it was Cherry Heart and would crave an $800 performance and that we should neuter him at the aforementioned time. This was before properly examining him and after I explained he would be used for convenance. Finally she checked him and conceded that he could have an infection but said she was however sure it was Reddish Heart and the functioning was needed, and so offered a discount on the operation. Eventually she gave me some antibiotic drops and the infection is now gone. All this toll me over $150 which is very steep for the service provided just for them to endeavour and rip me off for around $yard and cutting open my puppy when information technology isn't needed!!!! She kept calling my canis familiaris past the incorrect breed too. Won't be going there once more and would recommend others to exist cautious about going there. Read Less

While a seemingly capable veterinarian, the customer service at this identify leaves a lot to be desired. It's of import to me that I get to know the vet working with my dog, and then existence presented with different vets when I brought my pet in was a flake unnerving. I'm no vet myself, but I was concerned enough to seek a second opinion on my dog'southward post - surgery stitches, and information technology looked awful. The reception staff at Herongate Beast Hospital in Ajax is incompetent, they book appointments without telling you, or fail to notify yous when you take an upcoming appointment, resulting in nasty attitudes, or silence, from all staff when you try and discuss the matter. If y'all have a choice, choose someplace else. Read Less
