Anyway leftovers were in the fridge i didnt attend dinner, so I go to heat up the breadsticks that were in the take out bag, the bag was folded to keep them fresh so i just saw the outside and it was paper like material or whatever. so I put them in the microwave and it goes off like fourth of july sparks smoke etc... anyway the inside of the bag was like metal or some shit, it didnt say anything on the outside of the bag. now the microwave is fucked

Stupid people should be spayed and neutered, not rewarded with more money so they can procreate and pass on their stupidity. Same goes with people with stupid food allergies.

You should call them and tell them their bag ruined your microwave, and that they owe you a new microwave. If the bag does not have any written warning on it, regarding microwave use, then yes, they could be liable for the damages to your microwave.Anyway leftovers were in the fridge i didnt attend dinner, so I go to heat up the breadsticks that were in the take out bag, the bag was folded to keep them fresh so i just saw the outside and it was paper like material or whatever. so I put them in the microwave and it goes off like fourth of july sparks smoke etc... anyway the inside of the bag was like metal or some shit, it didnt say anything on the outside of the bag. now the microwave is fucked

My aunt and grandmother came down to visit last week. They took my mom to Olive Garden and got a take out meal to bring over to me.
I have never had Olive Garden before in my life... and when I reheated the food they gave to me, even I knew to take the bread sticks out of the foil bag.

"The Oooooh love garden" sounds like a what an eastern European man would call the hidden place in a public park where he fucks consenting strangers.

I don't know what's worse, that OP eats at olive garden or doesn't know how a microwave works

LMFAOOOOOOOSo you're the type of person that needs to be told hot things are hot and not to drink bleach.

The outside of the bag does appear to be paper. There is no indicator on the outside of the bag, showing that the inside is lined with foil. There is no microwave warning on the outside of the bag. Olive Garden cannot presume that everyone will open the bag to make sure what the inner lining is made of, therefore they are liable.

Olive Garden isn't even bad. the chicken marsala is dope, esp with the salad and breadsticksI don't know what's worse, that OP eats at olive garden or doesn't know how a microwave works

I find it suspect you didn't open up the bag to confirm what was inside and see the foil on the inside of the bag. Even if you *know* what's inside, people generally still open things up to confirm these things.

If it had any indication of not being paper I would. I had takeout from a local place before and got wings, the outside was Styrofoam but the aluminum was grazing the outside on purpose to show it was in there. this gave no indication or warningI find it suspect you didn't open up the bag to confirm what was inside and see the foil on the inside of the bag. When you pick up the bag you can tell the material is dense. Like maybe it's more than just paper. If it had any indication of not being paper I would. I thought it was just thick paper, point being it should have said something on the bag. Tons of other places do this. And most dont conceal the aluminum inside they make it clearWhen you pick up the bag you can tell the material is dense. Also, when restaurants put bread in to-go bags, it's ALWAYS in aluminum lined bags. When you pick up the bag you can tell the material is dense. Microwave oven implies a toaster oven not a reg microwave #1, #2 who the fuck flips the bag over to inspect it when the outside is paper and seems microwave safe

The aluminum helps the bread to brown and have the crisp outer layer. Just if you use it in the oven and not the fucking microwave.Who warms bread inside a bag? Take out the bread dumbass
